Surgery Opening TimesNew Opening Hours from 1st September 2008The practice is open daily Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 6.30pm. Staff are available until 6.30pm in an emergency. We open from 8.00am until 8.00pm two nights a week. Alternatively, we will open on some Saturday mornings. On the weeks we offer a Saturday morning we will offer one late night that week. These appointments will be pre-bookable up to four weeks in advance. For emergency medical help when the surgery is closed contact Westcall on (0118) 978 7811. For advice 24 hours a day call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or visit them online at www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk Patients offered a telephone consultation or triage with the nurse or doctor must be aware that we will not be able to return their call if they are operating a ‘call barred’ service. When The Surgery Is ClosedIf medical assistance is required between the hours of 6.30pm and 8.00am or at weekends, contact Westcall directly on (0118) 978 7811. You may also phone the surgery and your call will be transferred to Westcall. Emergency advice is available 24 hours a day by contacting NHS Direct (see above). Disabled Access Our clinical services, together with patient toilet facilities, are located on the ground floor and accessible to wheelchair users. However, users of very large wheelchairs may require special provision. Violent & Abusive PatientsAll members of our team have the
right to carry out their work without threat of violence. Access To Patient InformationYour medical records are confidential. You have the right to access them in accordance with the Access to Records Act 1990. We will need your signed consent if you wish any of your records to be divulged to a third party (such as an insurance company). The only exceptions are the provision of information when making a referral to another doctor or disclosure required by statute.
